Licensing Philosophy
All Saints Pre-School is licensed to operate by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Our license is posted in the southeast classroom at the school. We are authorized to serve 45 preschool and 10 school age children (those old enough to have entered Kindergarten) per session. The state laws and rules governing the licensing of this school are kept on file and are available for your review upon request. The center’s licensing record including compliance report forms, complaint investigation reports and evaluation forms from the building and fire departments are available upon request from the ODJFS. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services toll free number is 1-866-635-3748 for any person to use to report a suspected violation by the center.
Each child at All Saints is accepted as an individual. The staff of trained personnel endeavor to meet the needs of each child. Our school provides a nurturing atmosphere where children can develop physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills that will enable them to make an easy adjustment to Kindergarten and beyond. We feel that preschool is an early step toward responsible, contributing and caring adulthood. We encourage each child to develop these skills at their own rate.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is divided into monthly learning units. Into these we incorporate circle time, social skills, fingerplays, show and tell, letter and color days, art activities, free play, stories, music, science, large and small motor skills, pre-reading pre-math and other Kindergarten readiness skills

For large muscle coordination, we provide balance beams, a climber with slide, basketball hoop, woodworking bench, a sand table, large and small blocks, a 24’ parachute, play animals, dinosaurs, cars, balls, beanbags, activity CD’s and much, much more.

For small muscle and eye/hand coordination, we have puzzles, stencils, peg boards, flannel boards, Playmobile, Legos, board games and many, many other manipulative activities.

To stimulate imaginative play, there is a housekeeping room with kitchen area, dolls, dress up clothes for both boys and girls, a puppet stage, train and doll house.

The children experience a wide variety of media and methods for art which include play-doh, easel painting, tracing and cutting and finger-painting.

To encourage cognitive growth, language development and sensory perception, there are many activities involving colors, letters, numbers and shapes as well as rhyming, sequencing and opposites.

To build social skills and self esteem, we work on empathy training, impulse control and anger management.
